Motorola SlimLite Performance and Features

Performance and Features

When it comes to performance, the Motorola SlimLite was designed for basic telephony functions. With no support for GPRS or EDGE, its connectivity was limited to GSM networks, specifically the GSM 900 band. It does not feature Bluetooth, WLAN, or GPS, which are commonplace today, highlighting its role strictly as a communication device. This absence of advanced technology allowed it to focus on its core function: handling calls and messages efficiently.

The memory capabilities of the SlimLite include a phonebook that can store 100 contacts, and a call record capacity for 10 dialed, 5 received, and 5 missed calls. Although rudimentary, this was adequate for users who regarded mobile phones primarily as a means to keep in touch, rather than a multi-functional device.
