Connectivity and Features
The SLVR L7 operated over GSM 2G networks, making use of GPRS Class 10 for data services. Although it didn’t support EDGE or Wi-Fi, it did feature Bluetooth 1.2, enabling wireless connectivity to compatible devices. This model did not include GPS or radio capabilities; however, its repertoire of basic messaging options—SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, and Instant Messaging—was robust enough to cater to the communication needs of everyday users. With a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, it offered limited internet browsing capabilities. The inclusion of downloadable games and support for Java MIDP 2.0 added an element of entertainment to the device.
