With a focus on basic telecommunications, the Motorola T190 includes a phonebook that can store up to 100 contacts and call logs for 10 dialed, 10 received, and 10 missed calls. Without a camera, Bluetooth, or radio, the T190 was engineered to perform essential tasks without the additional features that are now commonplace. The lack of GPRS and EDGE meant there was no internet connectivity beyond basic WAP 1.1 browsing, which, given the limitations of the display and processing power, would have been a rare use case. Sound capabilities are minimal, with monophonic ringtones and the option to compose custom tones, though the lack of a loudspeaker and 3.5mm jack restricts audio flexibility.
