This device supports CDMA/EVDO technology, meaning it was primarily used with networks offering these service bands, offering a maximum download speed of 3.1 Mbps on EV-DO Rev.A. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS for enhanced location services, and a microUSB for charging and data transfer. Notably absent is an FM radio, which some competitors offered. An HDMI port provides the ability to connect the device to external displays, a forward-thinking feature for 2011.
