Connectivity and Communication Features
Connectivity on the V220 is minimal, as expected from a phone from 2003. With support for GSM 900/1800/1900 which ensured reasonable worldwide coverage at the time, the lack of Bluetooth, WLAN, or any form of modern positioning system highlights its limitations in today's connected world. The phone supports GPRS Class 10 for data transfer, although it does not include EDGE capabilities. Users are offered basic messaging services such as SMS, EMS, and MMS, alongside a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser for internet browsing.
