Motorola V291 Design and Build

Design and Build

The Motorola V291 features a compact clamshell design, measuring 87 x 47 x 22.4 mm and weighing a mere 97 grams. This size and weight make it highly portable and comfortable to hold. The use of a Mini-SIM card was standard at the time, and the clamshell form factor protected the inner screen from scratches and damage, while also enabling an additional black and white external display that provides essential information like caller ID and time. The V291 was available in silver and red, offering a touch of personalization in an era where most phones came only in basic colors.
