Though the V361 lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, it supports an array of sound alerts, including vibration, and downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. The presence of a loudspeaker ensures functionality for calls and media. MIDI and AAC file compatibility and a sound composer allowed personalization of alert tones, which was an appealing feature during its time.
