Design and Display
The design of the Motorola V635 is quintessentially early-2000s with its compact flip form factor, measuring 89 x 49 x 25 mm and weighing 124 grams. This sturdy build was designed to comfortably fit in the palm, making it ideal for one-handed operation. The phone's external appearance is complemented by its Crystal Silver and Black color options, giving it a sleek aesthetic.
The main display is a 1.9-inch TFT screen capable of displaying 256K colors, offering a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. Given the screen size and resolution, it provides a pixel density of around 148 ppi, which was fairly standard at the time. A secondary CSTN display on the outer shell supports 4096 colors at 96 x 80 pixels, allowing users to view notifications and caller ID without flipping open the device.
