The Motorola W177 provides a modest feature set focused on communication. Without internet capabilities like GPRS or EDGE, its primary function is to make calls and send SMS messages. The phonebook can store up to 500 entries, and the call records retain information on the most recent 10 dialed, received, and missed calls. The device also supports storing up to 750 SMS messages, catering to users who frequently text.
Surprisingly, it does not support a camera or Bluetooth, nor does it provide a 3.5mm audio jack or loudspeaker. However, it includes an FM radio, offering users an alternative entertainment source, provided they have a compatible headset that connects through the miniUSB port.
