Under the hood, the XOOM MZ600 runs on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, with an upgrade path to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. However, it can't be upgraded to any versions beyond this. Powered by an Nvidia Tegra 2 T20 chipset and a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU, complemented by a ULP GeForce GPU, this device provided decent processing power for its era. Whether users had the 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB internal storage variant, each came equipped with 1GB of RAM, which allowed for adequate multitasking and application performance by early 2010s standards.
