Powered by the Intel XScale PXA 270 processor clocked at 520 MHz, the Atom V ran on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Professional. This combination aimed to offer a balance between productivity and functionality, catering especially to business professionals who required mobile access to Microsoft Office applications. With 64MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM, it offered limited memory by today's standards, but was competent enough for the essential tasks of its time. Additionally, it supported expandable storage via a dedicated microSDHC card slot, which was a useful feature for users needing additional space.
