Design and Build
The NEC DB500, launched in 1999, features a design typical of the late 90s. With dimensions of 134 x 48 x 26 mm and a volume of 120 cc, it presents a compact and sturdy build for its time. Weighing 135 grams, it is relatively lightweight, though by contemporary standards it would be considered on the bulkier side. Its form accommodates the era's aesthetic, with a straight-forward, no-frills approach endorsed by the use of a Mini-SIM card, which was the norm back then.
