NEC e949/L1 Connectivity and Interface

Connectivity and Interface

In terms of connectivity, the NEC e949/L1 supported GSM networks across 900, 1800, and 1900 bands, which was standard for the time. Bluetooth 1.2 allowed for simple device pairing and data sharing, albeit at a slower pace compared to today's standards. Interestingly, the phone lacked modern comforts such as Wi-Fi and GPS, confining it to basic communication and emailing functionalities via its WAP 2.0/xHTML browser.
