The NEC N160 features a CSTN display capable of showing 65K colors, with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. While this may seem rudimentary by today's standards, at the time, it offered adequate visual clarity for basic phone tasks such as texting and navigating menus. Notably, it includes a second external display also showcasing 65K colors. Although small and somewhat limited by modern comparisons, these displays were significant for users who appreciated visually vibrant interfaces within the constraints of early mobile technology.
