Design and Display
The NEC N331i has an understated yet practical design. Measuring 101 x 48 x 24 mm, the phone fits comfortably in one’s hand and pocket, weighing in at 110 grams. This compact build makes it a model of portability. The handset is equipped with a TFT display capable of showing 65K colors, which was quite standard at the time. With a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, the main display is functional for basic tasks like messaging and viewing call logs. An additional secondary LCD display is included, although it supports only 12 colors and a simple resolution of 30 x 96 pixels, primarily used for caller ID and basic notifications without having to activate the main screen.
