Display
The primary display of the NEC N850 is a 1.9-inch TFT screen capable of displaying 65K colors. With a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and a pixel density of approximately 148 ppi, the clarity is acceptable for the basics of mobile interaction during that period. A distinctive aspect of this model is its second external STN display, which measures 128 x 128 pixels and supports 4096 colors. This secondary display allows users to quickly glance at notifications, time, and caller ID without opening the clamshell, saving time and effort for simple tasks.
