While this might seem limited by today’s standards, the inclusion of a touchscreen interface set it apart from many other mobile phones of the era. Notably, the NEC N938 featured handwriting recognition, which was an innovative feature that allowed users to interact with their device in a more intuitive way. This feature was particularly useful for users who preferred stylus input for navigation and text entry.
