NIU's Andy C5.5E2I runs on the Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system, which, even at the time of release, was quite dated. Powering the device is a Mediatek MT6582M chipset with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and a Mali-400 GPU. The hardware was quite modest and primarily aimed at delivering basic smartphone performance. With just 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, multitasking and storage capacity were considerable constraints. However, the phone does feature a dedicated microSDXC slot, allowing users to expand storage and alleviate some limitations.
