The design of the NIU Niutek 4.5D is modest yet functional. It featured dimensions of 137.6 x 68 x 10.4 mm and weighed 139 grams, making it relatively compact and lightweight for a smartphone of its era. Its dual SIM feature, supporting mini-SIM cards, catered to users who needed the flexibility of two networks, which was a desirable feature for many in emerging markets. The phone's body, primarily constructed from plastic, came in a basic black color, which suited its low-key market positioning.
