Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the NIU Tek 4D2 comes equipped with a MediaTek MT6572M chipset, a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, and a Mali-400 GPU. This hardware combination offers basic functionality suitable for rudimentary operations such as messaging, calling, and light app usage. However, the 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage limit the capacity for running multiple apps simultaneously or saving significant amounts of media and applications. Fortunately, there is a microSDXC slot available for expanding storage.
