The Nokia 4.2 is equipped with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13 MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, as well as a secondary sensor for better depth detection. It captures decent photos in well-lit conditions with adequate color and detail, although low-light performance is predictably limited. The rear camera is also capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps. On the front, there is an 8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture, competent for selfies and video calls. Overall, the camera performance is aligned with the expectations for a smartphone in this price range.
