In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic utilized GSM 2G technology, offering solid call quality across specified frequency bands. It supported both GPRS and EDGE Class 32, suitable for basic internet access. However, it lacked WLAN and advanced connectivity features seen today. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP was included, allowing for wireless audio streaming to compatible devices, which aligned with the phone’s audio-centric design. The inclusion of a stereo FM radio with RDS added another dimension to its music functions.
