Nokia 600 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Running on Symbian Belle OS, the Nokia 600 was part of Nokia's attempt to bring Symbian up to speed against growing competition from iOS and Android platforms. The phone was powered by a 1.0 GHz processor, which, while modest by today's standards, was adequate for basic applications and the smooth operation of Symbian Belle. The internal memory was limited to 2GB, which was typical for budget devices at the time, but this could be expanded via a dedicated microSDHC slot, providing extra storage flexibility.
