Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, a flagship-level processor from its time, the Nokia 8 delivers smooth performance across tasks and applications. Its octa-core CPU (4x2.5 GHz Kryo & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo) and Adreno 540 GPU ensure that both routine processes and more demanding applications like gaming are handled efficiently. The phone originally launched with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but it is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie, bringing newer features and better optimization. Two variants are available regarding memory: one with 64GB of internal storage paired with 4GB of RAM, and a more robust version housing 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM with UFS 2.1 for faster read and write speeds.
