Internally, the Asha 308 hosts 20MB of storage, supplemented by 128MB of ROM and 64MB of RAM. While the internal memory may seem limited compared to modern standards, it suffices for basic tasks, including SMS, MMS, Email, and instant messaging. Users can expand the storage via a dedicated microSDHC slot, with a 2GB card included, enhancing its utility for additional contacts and media files. The Java-based environment (MIDP 2.1) permits the downloading of additional applications, extending the device's usability.
