Performance and Software
Powered by a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor and running on Symbian OS, S60 rel. 3.2, the E55 was designed to be a reliable workhouse for basic smartphone functionalities. It was not designed to compete with the high-specification smartphones of today but was well-suited to manage the demands of 2009 consumers, offering essential productivity and communication functions with proficiency. An included 2 GB microSDHC card provided room for additional applications, media, and files against the 60MB internal storage, which was remarkably limited.
