Driven by a Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon S2 chipset, a 1.4 GHz Scorpion CPU, and an Adreno 205 GPU, the Lumia 710 housed sufficient power for casual use and early smartphone applications. Running on Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, the device provided a fluid user experience with its tile-based interface, which was both intuitive and distinctive for its time. However, it lacked an option for memory expansion with no card slot, limiting users to the 8GB internal storage and 512MB RAM.
