Performance
At its core, the Lumia 720 houses a Qualcomm MSM8227 chipset, with a dual-core 1.0 GHz CPU and an Adreno 305 GPU. It comes with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. While this setup doesn't compete with modern devices, it was capable enough to handle the Windows Phone 8 OS smoothly. Everyday tasks, such as browsing, multimedia consumption, and light gaming, could be performed without noticeable lag. However, the limitations of 512MB RAM meant that certain apps and more demanding games were either unavailable or struggled to perform optimally.
