Under the hood, the Lumia 735 ran on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, a quad-core Cortex-A7 clocked at 1.2 GHz, and an Adreno 305 GPU. While not groundbreaking, this configuration ensured a sufficiently smooth experience for everyday tasks such as browsing and social media access, alongside moderate gaming. It was paired with 1GB of RAM which was just about adequate—albeit not future-proof—for the era and an internal storage capacity of 8GB. However, the presence of a dedicated microSDXC card slot allowed for memory expansion, mitigating storage concerns.
