At its core, the Lumia 925 runs on a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset powered by a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU and an Adreno 225 GPU. While this hardware might not compare to contemporary smartphones, it was quite competitive upon release, delivering smooth performance for most tasks.
