Connectivity and Communication
The O2 Jet was designed for GSM networks, supporting 2G bands including GSM 850, 900, 1800, and 1900. This enabled it to function on most networks worldwide, although it lacked support for the higher-speed EDGE connectivity that was emerging at the time. The inclusion of Bluetooth 2.0 allowed users to connect wirelessly to a handful of compatible devices, a forward-thinking feature despite the absence of more advanced networking capabilities such as WLAN or positioning services.
