Central to the XDA Flame’s design is its 3.6-inch TFT resistive touchscreen. With a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels, it offers a decent pixel density of approximately 222 pixels per inch, which was impressive for displays back in 2007. The screen can support 256K colors, although effectively it uses 65K colors. This display was considered advanced for its time, allowing clear text readings and vibrant image displays, further enhanced by its handwriting recognition feature, a unique offering that was not commonly found in its contemporaries.
