Connectivity and Communications
For connectivity, the XDA Neo supported GSM technology across multiple bands (850/900/1800/1900 bands), ensuring wide international use. It boasted GPRS and EDGE Class 10 for data, and while these offered slower data speeds compared to today’s LTE or 5G, they were adequate for browsing the mobile web. The device also supported Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0, providing a suite of wireless connectivity options. However, it lacked GPS positioning and a radio, which were more common in later iterations of smartphones.
