Performance and Software
Equipped with the Mediatek MT6765G Helio G35 chipset, the Oppo A16 offers reasonable performance for basic smartphone operations. Its octa-core CPU, featuring Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 2.3 GHz, manages multitasking fairly well for less demanding applications. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU supports basic graphics processing needs, making light gaming possible, though users should not expect high-end gaming performance. Initially shipped with Android 11 and ColorOS 11, the device is upgradable to Android 12 with ColorOS 12, offering updated software features and improvements.
