Under the hood, the Oppo A71 (2018) is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, coupled with an octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and an Adreno 506 GPU. The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Oppo's ColorOS 3.2 skin on top. While the software and hardware combination is a bit dated, it handles basic apps and multitasking well.
