Under the hood, the Oppo A73 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 720 chipset, built on a 7nm process. The octa-core CPU, comprising two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores all clocked at 2.0 GHz, ensures a smooth multitasking experience. Coupled with the Mali-G57 MC3 GPU, this setup enables decent graphical performance for casual gaming and media playback. The phone originally ships with Android 10 but is upgradable to Android 12, layered with Oppo's ColorOS 12, which offers a variety of customization options and a user-friendly interface. The device is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which should be ample for most users. Additionally, it supports expandable storage via a dedicated microSDXC slot.
