Design and Build
The Oppo A9, announced and released in April 2019, presents a stylish and modern aesthetic, typical of mid-range smartphones of its time. It measures 162 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm and weighs in at 190 grams, making it comfortable to hold without feeling too bulky. The phone features a Gorilla Glass 5 front, offering a degree of protection against scratches and minor drops. However, the plastic back and frame could leave it more susceptible to wear over time compared to phones with a metal finish. The hybrid dual SIM slot is a practical inclusion, allowing users to switch between carriers or expand storage using a microSD card.
