Performance and Software
Powered by the Mediatek MT6763T Helio P23 chipset and an octa-core 2.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, the Oppo F5 is designed to handle typical day-to-day tasks with ease, from browsing and social media to multitasking with various apps. The Mali-G71 MP2 GPU supports gaming experiences, although it may not handle the most intensive games at the highest settings smoothly. Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, layered with ColorOS 3.2, it offers a user-friendly interface, though the lack of updates to newer Android versions might deter some power users. The phone comes with either 32GB of internal storage paired with 4GB RAM, or 64GB with 6GB RAM, both expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot, allowing for ample storage flexibility.
