Performance and Platform
The Orange San Diego runs on Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread) out of the box, upgradeable to Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The phone is powered by an Intel Atom Z2460 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, paired with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU. Despite its single-core architecture, the use of Intel's technology was a unique attribute, offering an alternative performance profile. This was complemented by 1GB of RAM, which was standard for mid-range devices at that time.
