Performance and Software
Initially running on Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) with an upgrade available to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), the Eluga DL1 was powered by the TI OMAP 4430 chipset and a dual-core 1.0 GHz CPU. This combination offered reasonable performance for the era, capable of handling daily tasks, multimedia, and lightweight applications efficiently. With 1GB of RAM, it was on par with mid-range devices of its time. However, the lack of an external microSD card slot slightly limited its 8GB internal storage, which may have posed challenges to users requiring more space for apps and multimedia.
