Battery Life
The Panasonic GD30 was powered by a removable NiMH 700 mAh battery. Although this capacity seems modest today, it offered a standby time of approximately 90 hours and talk time of about 180 minutes, which was respectable for its class at the time. The removable nature of the battery allowed users to carry spare batteries, which was a common practice when charging infrastructure was not as ubiquitous.
