Performance and Features
Under the hood, the Panasonic GD35 was equipped with rudimentary features. It operated on GSM 900/1800 bands, rendering it suitable for 2G network usage but incapable of data services like GPRS or EDGE. As such, the GD35 primarily focused on voice communication and SMS, supported by a minimalistic phonebook capable of storing up to 50 contacts. Messaging was limited to SMS, and it adhered to the WAP 1.1 protocol, marking its limitations in web browsing, which was still a burgeoning feature in phones during that period.
