For its time, the GD67 offered interesting sound capabilities. It includes a loudspeaker for hands-free operation and supports vibration alerts. The device allows for downloadable polyphonic ringtones and even a composer to create personalized melodies, tapping into the early trend for mobile customization. However, it lacks a 3.5mm jack, which means using headphones or external audio devices was not supported.
