Connectivity
Connectivity options on the GD75 were quite basic, by necessity of the technology available in 2001. It supported GSM 900/1800 bands, with another model variation, the GD76, incorporating GPRS connectivity. There was no support for more modern wireless technologies such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, making it a device suited strictly for voice calling and SMS text messaging. It did, however, feature a WAP 1.2.1 browser, which allowed very basic web browsing on compatible networks, a novelty during the time of its release.
