Panasonic P341i Design and Display

Design and Display

The Panasonic P341i is admirably compact, with dimensions of 87 x 47 x 24 mm, it fits snugly in the hand, making it exceedingly portable. Weighing only 92 grams, it is lightweight enough that its presence is barely felt in a pocket. Its design features a classic clamshell form factor, typical of the time, which provided users with a sense of screen protection when closed. The phone boasts a primary TFT screen capable of displaying up to 65K colors, providing a resolution of 132 x 176 pixels. This might not be much by current standards, but it was adequate for its time, allowing clear visual content such as text messages and basic images. Additionally, the secondary external display offers a 96 x 28 pixel resolution with a 7 color backlight for essential notifications without the need to open the phone.
