Platform and Performance
Running on Symbian OS 7.0s with Series 60 v2.0 UI, the Panasonic X800 offered a platform that was quite popular at the time, especially for business-oriented tasks. It is powered by a 104 MHz ARM 920T CPU, which by current standards is underwhelming, but was adequate for the basic mobile functions and applications available in the mid-2000s, such as making calls, sending SMS, and using simple applications. Its internal memory is limited to 8 MB, but it supports miniSD cards, with a 16 MB card included to expand storage, which was essential for users who needed to store more data.
