Connectivity and Additional Features
Connectivity was a key selling point with the Breakout offering CDMA/EVDO/LTE support, including 4G bands for relatively fast data speeds for its time. Although the LTE technology was in its infancy, the phone’s capabilities were forward-thinking at a budget-friendly price point. It had Wi-Fi capabilities including DLNA support and could serve as a hotspot. Bluetooth 3.0 was on board, as was GPS with A-GPS support and VZ Navigator for navigation assistance. However, FM radio was notably absent, a feature some users might miss.
