Design and Build
With dimensions of 119 x 60 x 9 mm and a weight of just 91 grams, the Pantech Hotshot is compact and exceptionally lightweight, making it easy to handle and fit comfortably in a pocket. The phone is available in two colors, Black and Red, offering a touch of personalization. The front is dominated by a modest 3.2-inch TFT display, supporting 256K colors, with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. While the screen-to-body ratio of approximately 40.8% is relatively low by today’s standards, it was quite typical for the era. The phone uses a Mini-SIM format and features a removable Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery, indicative of the time when replaceable batteries were a common convenience.
