Connectivity and Features
The P4000 offered basic connectivity options. It supported GSM networks and included GPRS and EDGE for mobile data, which allowed for basic web browsing using its WAP 2.0/xHTML browser. Absent were advanced connectivity options, such as 3G or WiFi, highlighting its role as a transitional device during a time when smartphones were emerging. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP allowed for wireless audio streaming, and the presence of a stereo FM radio with RDS provided additional entertainment features. However, the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack meant users had to rely on bundled hands-free solutions or wireless options for personal audio.
