Under the hood, the Pursuit II runs on a Qualcomm QSC6270 chipset with a modest 230 MHz CPU. This setup provides enough processing power for basic tasks like messaging and calling but is limited for more demanding applications or multitasking seen in modern smartphones. It includes 217MB of internal storage, which was quite restricted, though it supports expansion via a dedicated microSDHC card slot. Unfortunately, the absence of Java means running more advanced non-native apps is not feasible, narrowing its utility beyond essential functions.
